The Power Within
Blog post description.“The Power Within” is a bold reminder that the same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead lives within every believer. Ebony Brinson challenges readers to stop playing small and walk in divine authority. “Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.” (1 John 4:4) This post ignites faith and reminds you that God has already equipped you with strength, courage, and supernatural power to overcome. It’s time to activate the anointing inside and move boldly in purpose. The power is already within; use it.

Power is more than influence. It's more than ability. It is the divine authority granted by God to His children to act, to overcome, to stand, and to walk in dominion. Power is the God-given ability to move effectively in the natural and the spiritual realms, aligning every action with His perfect will. Strength is both physical and spiritual, the enduring force that carries us through the fire, through the flood, and through the fight. It’s the ability to remain anchored in God, unwavering when life shakes us. And this strength is not our own; it flows from the Spirit of the Living God.
“But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
(2 Corinthians 12:9, NIV)
In our weakness, His power is perfected. We don’t boast in our own strength, but in the limitless, undefeated, eternal power of God. He alone is the One true and living God; no idol, no force, no darkness can compare to His might. When we reverence His Holy Name, He shows us His glory. He reveals His power. He equips us for battle. He fills us with strength, endurance, and boldness. “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe.” (Proverbs 18:10, KJV) Through the Holy Spirit, we are not powerless. We are not helpless. We are dangerous to the kingdom of darkness. “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.” (Luke 10:19, NIV)
That’s the authority we carry in Jesus’ name! We have the strength to cast out demons. We have the power to break strongholds. We have the authority to shift atmospheres and destroy yokes. “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues.” (Mark 16:17, KJV) Jesus has given us the power. It’s not potential, it’s activated by faith. When you walk in obedience, reverence, and intimacy with the Father, you walk in supernatural power. Don’t shrink back. Don’t second-guess. Stand bold. Walk strong. Speak with authority.
You carry the power of God within you.
Now go and use it.
Shalom.
