War & Worship
In “War and Worship,” Ebony Brinson reveals the spiritual power of lifting your hands in praise even during battle. When fear rises and the enemy surrounds, worship becomes your weapon and prayer your strategy. “Though a host encamp against me, my heart shall not fear...” (Psalm 27:3) This blog reminds believers that God is undefeated, and victory begins with worship. As you glorify Him, strongholds break and the enemy flees. Worship is not weakness, it’s warfare. Let your praise make the heavens roar and the darkness tremble.

War & Worship
Who thinks of worship during war?
When the battle draws near, many tremble, gripped by fear, paralyzed by the threat of what could be. Some are defeated before the first strike because, in their minds, the enemy has already won. But we, the children of the Most High God, do not fight for victory; we fight from victory. Our Commander has never lost a battle. Our God is undefeated.
"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment."
(1 John 4:18, NKJV) So if you are fearful, fret not. The Lord is with you. His perfect love drives out all fear. He goes before you, stands beside you, and surrounds you with songs of deliverance. In the midst of war, lift your hands. Worship. Let your praise rise like a battle cry even while arrows fly. The Word says: “Pray without ceasing.” (1 Thessalonians 5:17, NKJV) “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.” (Philippians 4:6, NKJV) When the war surrounds you, worship louder. When the fire intensifies, lift Him higher. Our God is not deaf to your cries. His ears are inclined to His children. And make no mistake: He loves the sound of your voice when you call on His name.
Your worship is not weakness; it is warfare. Every time you exalt Him, you invoke His presence. And where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2 Corinthians 3:17). There is victory. There is a breakthrough. Let the Word declare the truth: “He bowed the heavens also, and came down with darkness under His feet... He sent out His arrows and scattered the foe, lightnings in abundance, and He vanquished them... He delivered me from my strong enemy, from those who hated me, for they were too strong for me.”
(Psalm 18:9, 14, 17, NKJV)That is the God we serve, a Warrior King, a Mighty Deliverer, whose wrath consumes the adversary and whose presence shatters strongholds. When we worship, we don’t retreat, we advance. "Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him.” (Job 13:15, NKJV)
Even in the war, God. Even in the uncertainty, worship Him. Because your worship is your triumph. Every “hallelujah” is a declaration of victory. Every tear sown in prayer becomes a harvest of glory. Every shout of praise tears down the walls of darkness. So stand firm, soldier of Christ. Lift your voice. Raise your hands. Let the sound of War & Worship shake the gates of hell.
Shalom.
